These terms and conditions are for any installations undertaken by Hagley Stoves & Fireplaces.
You must have a ‘used chimney’ cleaned by a registered sweep prior to our installation, the sweep certificate forms part of your warranty and reduces the level mess in the room.
Our quote is presuming that the chimney and areas that we are working in are built to the correct standards. We cannot be held responsible for any existing faults, deterioration and existing incorrect building work. Should progress of work be affected by this you may be charged extra, these costs would be agreed before work is continued.
The only way to identify these potential problems in advance is with an in-depth, investigative and potentially disruptive engineer visit. Please ask a member of staff for details.
Our workmanship and materials are guaranteed for 12 months.
Some of the goods we sell have a longer warranty. These warranties covers parts only therefore labour costs will be incurred.
Please note that the nature of our work may create dust and mess to the room and surrounding areas. We suggest removal or covering items in the room and rolling back the carpet, if appropriate, to create a large working area.
A deposit of 25% is required upon order of work, balance to be paid upon completion of work. If works cannot be completed due to reasons out of our control part payment will be required, leaving a maximum of 10% of the total price outstanding.
